Poynton Cell Annual Christmas Tournament
The Poynton Cell held their annual Christmas tournament on Saturday 19th December and a great time was had by all.
The tournament was a team event led by two of the older players in which matches were played for 10 minutes meaning everyone got lots of games.
Trophies were awarded for the "highest scorer", "most competitive game" and "best newcomer" on each team.
The matches were played to a backdrop of hip hop music from 2009 and the 2 tins of chocolates were devoured in double quick time!

Most Improved Player in 2009 was awarded to Rory Tremayne.
An "Achievement Award" was presented to Max Teeling.
Max has been a member of the Poynton Cell since its inception and he has developed from playing for junior county to a regular player in the top divisions of the local league. Max is currently undertaking his Level 1 Coaching Award and will be developing his coaching skills at the Poynton Cell.
