Cheshire Badminton continues to go from strength to strength in every agegroup - Junior, Senior and Veterans. Whether you are looking for News on the latest achievements, a club or coaching in your area, or Tournament Entry Forms, hopefully, you will find it here.

CHESHIRE BADMINTON ASSOCIATION (founded in 1958) is the prime source of badminton events for Seniors, Juniors and Veterans. Prior to 1958 the association was joint with Lancashire. The current Cheshire boundary for badminton includes Wirral, Halton (Widnes & Runcorn) , Warrington, Trafford, Stockport and part of Tameside as well as the recently formed East and West Cheshire.

Of the 5 men and 4 ladies who have received international honours for England the most remarkable is Tony Jordan who was the first English international player to reach 100 appearances.  This was at a time when international matches were not as frequent  as they are today.

Since the Inter County Championships started in 1930, Cheshire have won the title 5 times and been runner-up 12 times.
