My name is Claire Wright I am the Regional Officer for Badminton in the Cheshire area.

I am responsible for the local co-ordination of Community Badminton Networks and other aspects of badminton development in Cheshire, in line with the BADMINTON England 100 Point Plan and the County Badminton Development plan. My aim is to work in partnership with local clubs, schools, leisure centers, the Local Authorities and the County Sports Partnership to ensure Badminton is delivered and promoted effectively. I am also the Regional lead for 16 – 19 Retention in the North West. The remit requires that I work closely with colleges and young people helping to create opportunities to ensure the continued participation in the sport of Badminton between the ages of 16 and 19 years old.
